Hi all,

Good start back with Term 2.  Loking at setting up a great Drumbeat program to help students, so prayer for that would be great.  Also prayer for students SH and DC that they would consider how their actions affect themselves and others and that God would open up doors to talk to them. 

Prayer for the continuation of spirituality lessons in classes across the school would be great too.  Had the first group of grade 7's do this on monday and it was fantastic - Praise God!

Also pray for student LC that he would make some positive choices surrounding drugs/alcohol/truancy and his future.

Praise God always for what he is doing and thankyou for your continued prayer!

Hi Everyone,

Well, my time at Prospect High is nearly at an end.  I praise God for the wonderful journey that it has been, the privilege of being able to love  and help others and also for the things He has shown me along the way.

Please pray that over the next few weeks that God would bring forth the rght person for this school as a new chaplain, that He would make a smooth transition of all that has been set in motion in the past.  Especially that he would continue to care and guide the staff and students who I currently see.

Also pray for studet KP that she would build confidence to trust people again.

Hi All, thanks always for you continuing prayers.  Praise God for the great things he has done in establishing the chaplaincy here at Prospect as a vital part of the school and a valuable resource.

Please pray for:

• New chaplain for the school as I will be leaving
• Continuance of programs such as Rock and Water/School Yard Blitz and FLEX leadership day
• The students that I deal with that they would cope well with my leaving and the start of a new chaplain.
• The growth of the support team here at Prospect as we continue to develop the roles of Chaplain, Social Worker and guidance officer.  ALso the growth of how these roles work within the school.

I'm looking at starting up a drumbeat program, but it is about $100 per student.  Can anyone make a donation or suggest some avenues for funding?

I have worked as a school chaplain for four years, worked in the LGH as a chaplain whilst doing some training and have been working in aged care as a chaplain for 1 year now. 

I would love to see chaplains of all different places - Sport clubs, schools, health care facilities, aged care facilities, businesses and services brought together in some way.

 I love Praypal and think it has the amazing networking powers and I would bee keen to see it extend beyond the walls of school chaplaincy to encourage and use chaplains from all levels of societies. 

Chaplaincy is a big part of many peoples lives.  Wouldn't it be great if every person had a chaplain they could turn to for help and advice?  Whether it be the chaplain in their school, business, church, workplace or friendship group.

If Praypal could be extended to encompass all chaplains and then be a central place for anyone to find a chaplain to talk to then that would be awesome.

What are other peoples thoughts?
